When you search Google for examples and you’ll see an endless supply of electrical control panel examples in all shapes and sizes, but little information about their purpose or how they were designed and produced.
These examples are small and simple with information about their purpose, design and production. They’re also examples of various stages in the series of tests new customers give us to see if we’re the right company for them.
- What would we do different ?
- How much ?
- How fast ?
Even smaller and simpler than control panels are Local Control Stations and Junction Boxes. They’re so small they’re often forgotten. When they’re part of an equipment package we’ll provide them too.
As we pass each “Are you the right company for us?” test, we take another step. First, they give us a small order. When they like what we provide and how we do business they place another order, repeat.
Starting small and simple is smart in any new relationship. It lets you ease into it before you make the inevitable leap of faith.
Control Panel Submittal Package
A control panel engineering submittal is how we describe the control panel we’re planning to produce. We produce one for every control panel we’re planning to produce. We submit it to our customer for review and approval prior to releasing it to production. One is included with each example and includes the following sections.
- Section A. Datasheets for Enclosures and Accessories
- Section B. Datasheets for Power and Control Devices
- Section C. Datasheets for Field Mounted Devices
- Section D. Drawings
- Section E. Bill of Material
Most of our OEM customers produce an engineering submittal package for every equipment order they’re planning to produce. They submit it to their customer for review and approval prior to releasing it to production. They include our panel submittal in their equipment submittal.
